Jihad is currently the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer at Mahatat. She is a community development worker with over 8 years of experience in managing, coordinating, implementing and evaluating social and development activities and projects. In addition, she has trained and supported both children and youth through conducting life skills workshops, feasibility studies and promoting volunteerism in national organizations. Jihad also worked as a Project Manager on the Combating Worst forms of Child Labor (CWCLP) for YAPD & ICWA in association with the United Nations (WFP/ILO/UNICEF) and as Project Coordinator for YAPD 2010, in several projects related to youth and children, the Global Xchange (VSO/British Council), Bader/Have Initiative (Vodafone Foundation for Development), and the Step Towards our Future (UNICEF). Jihad is also a co-Founder for Resala Charity in Zagazig-Sharqiua. She holds a BSc in Commerce, a diploma in Applied Economics and a diploma in NGO Management.
